Boerse Stuttgart Group, Germany’s second largest stock exchange, has announced the launch of its own mobile cryptocurrency trading application Bison.
The aim of the product is to facilitate access to the virtual asset market for traders and investors who are accustomed to working with traditional instruments. Currently, users can trade Bitcoin (BTC), Ripple (XRP), Ether (ETH) and Litecoin (LTC) for free. According to the press release, the list of supported cryptocurrencies will be expanded by the end of this year. The selection of coins will take into account their total market capitalization, customer interest and the possibility of safe storage. It is also planned to open access to residents of other European countries.
Initially, trading will be carried out daily from 6:00 to 24:00 local time, but in the future, a round-the-clock regime will be introduced. The software was developed by FinTech Sowa Labs, a subsidiary of the Boerse Stuttgart Group, and another division of the operator is responsible for the safe storage of the cryptocurrency. – Blocknox.
Representatives stock exchanges of many countries have also announced their plans to launch cryptocurrency platforms. The most anticipated is Bakkt, backed by the world’s largest derivatives market operator Intercontinental Exchange, which is still awaiting approval from the US regulator.
